Life update

I'm Mrs Columbia and I'm new to being a divorced single mother and trying to be a homesteader. I want to share my story so I can look back over the years at all that's changed and we have accomplished.

It’s been a long time since I have made a post. I’m sorry about that. So in the past few months I have been fighting in court for custody. Other than that I’m still working in a bakery but now I’m going to school to be a life insurance agent. That’s going well I’m getting good grades and learning a lot. My 5 year old started kindergarten and is loving it. My two year old is being watched while I’m at work by one of my friends. I’m trying to get into a daycare but they are so expensive. We are living in an apartment. I’m trying to sell my truck and get something a little less expensive to drive.

I still have dreams about starting my own business I either want to start a cleaning company or a bakery of my own. I have put a lot of thought into both. If I could get the money to start up my bakery I would need a little shop. Then I could have a certified kitchen and a little area to display my baked goods. I would make cakes, cookies, brownies, bread, muffins, donuts, whoopie pies, pies, turnovers, cinnamon buns and biscuits. I would make chocolate, gold and marble cakes. I would make sugar, chocolate chip, peanut butter, Reesie‘s pieces cookies.

I would make chocolate cream, apple, pumpkin, blueberry and strawberry rhubarb pie. I would make garlic bread, white bread, whole wheat bread, Italian bread, banana bread, zucchini bread and everything seed bread. I would make chocolate, honey glazed, honey glazed with sprinkles, chocolate with sprinkle, powdered and chocolate powdered and boston cream donuts. I would make blueberry, chocolate, chocolate chip, cinnamon, pumpkin and apple muffins.

Im very excited about starting my bakery I hope to be able to start it sometime next year. I’m working on my cleaning company. I need references in order to have people trust me enough to clean their homes. So now I’m trying to get a few of my friends to let me come clean their homes. If they liked my work I’m hoping they would let me use them as references.
