a day in the life
Hello friends
I'm Mrs Columbia, and I'm new to being a wife, mother, and trying to be a homesteader. I want to share my story so I can look back over the years at all that's changed and we have accomplished.
The kids are sick they have a cold. I was up most of the night blowing noises. We woke at 7 a.m., and the children snuggled in my bed till 830. They had breakfast and played with toys till 10 am. While they played, i stared a load of laundry and then cleaned the bathroom.
At 10 a.m., I gave them a natural medicine to help with their runny nose. We snuggled in our chair and read books for an hour. I sat on the floor and built an epic house from magnetic tiles with the children. We put in bunked beds and got our fisher-price little people toys, and made them sleep.
Lunch was at noon. We had a sandwich after we cleaned up the toys in the living room. Then, we got ready for a nap. we read a book and snuggled. After the youngest fell asleep, I folded the laundry. I washed this morning and got supper cooked.
After nap 2 pm, we played outside it snowed, and they played for an hour. 3 pm we checked the mail, and they really enjoyed doing that, and we even do it on Sunday, knowing there won't be mail. Around 4 p.m., we brought our library books back, and the children played with toys for a while, and then we picked out books.
At 6 pm we went shopping it almost spring and the children need mud boots we looked around the store for a hour trying to wear them out before bed around 7pm we get back home they have dinner and a bath. I read them a few library books, and they fell asleep.
Around 8 to 9 pm, I start the closing shift where I clean up all the toys from the day. Load and run the dishwasher. I get things ready for the morning, such as getting the children's clothing out to make the morning as esay as I can. I like to walk around with my phone and make a list of chores for tomorrow. At 10 p.m., I get ready and go to sleep.
More next week, I will be trying to post every Sunday morning.
